I’m keen on remixes of Hip-Hop songs lacking the Hip-Hop element altogether -- Perhaps it’s the conscious juxtaposition, or the sheer contradiction that takes place -- either way, I give a tip-of-the-hat to anyone who dares to take on the task. That is to say, more often than not, such ventures don’t exactly induce praise.
