There hasn't been a remix post in awhile so I figured, what the hell? I stumbled upon some INCREDIBLE remixes of Bon Iver's music from a local producer and songwriter duo by the name of Panama. I've heard Bon Iver remixes before, but nothing like this. Panama breaks down Bon Iver into something hauntingly dream-like. Slow electro pulses and heavy ambient beats and a touch of a little wobble dubstep that gives a delicate twist on the Iver's acoustics. Fans of Bon Iver may scoff at anybody who dare attempts to mess with their originality but trust me on this one guys. Check out my favorites, "Peaches" and "Blossom," which is a twist on "Re:Stacks." I don't think I could get any more lifted than this music high I'm on right now. The name of this beautiful project is called "Good Winter," which ironically is the French translation of "Bon Iver." I literally hunted FOREVER to try and find more about Panama, but they keep their shit a secret. I am begging for more of their music, so if anyone knows where I go about finding it, let me know immediately.
Best news of all, the entire album is free on Bandcamp. Win.
